Blue Funds Pilot

The Blue Funds Pilot was, as its name suggests, the first Blue Fund. It was based on an idea of Neville’s, warmly endorsed by the Head Master, and is administered by the Blue Fund Pilot ‘trio’ of Neville, Susan and Susannah on behalf of The Sue Thomson Foundation as a Restricted Fund. The Pilot Blue Fund has now completed, having secured commitments totalling £193,819 over seven years, as against the target of £161,000. The majority of the pilot’s eighty-three founder subscribers responded to individually-tailored invitations sent to ninety eight people personally known to at least one of the Trio, with some others coming in as a result of a ‘ripple’ effect.

The first Blue Fund Presentee entered the school in September 2013.
