DOWNLOADThank you to our 283 donors who have collectively raised our second Blue Fund target £190,000! This will provide a full 7 year bursary at Christ’s Hospital for another child in financial or other need. This child will be the second Blue Fund Pupil to benefit from the collective support of the whole CH community and will start at CH in September 2018.
We will of course continue our fundraising to kick start a third Blue Fund which will offer a life-changing opportunity to another child in need. Our new fundraising target is set at £210,000 which, by joining forces, is achievable.
Thank you for showing your commitment to Christ’s Hospital for our #GivingTuesday campaign. Thanks to your generosity, the day was a tremendous success, raising over £11,000!
This was the second year Christ’s Hospital took part in #GivingTuesday, the global day of giving supported by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). To celebrate, we held a “pupil takeover” on the Blue Fund social media pages, with Grecians Beth, Tom and Freddie taking us around the School, showing us their favourite academic subjects and extra-curricular activities, demonstrating first-hand the opportunities and benefits of a CH education.
We are hugely grateful to everyone who made a gift, and to Tom, Beth and Freddie for their hard work in the pupil social media takeover – thank you!
This term we welcomed Tom into the 2nd Form as our first Blue Fund pupil to join Christ’s Hospital!
We could not have done this without your generosity – THANK YOU! By joining forces with Old Blues, parents and friends, your incredible support helped us reach our Blue Fund target and offer Tom the life changing opportunity of a CH education, and the chance to gain new skills and experiences.
Christ’s Hospital thanks everyone who made a gift to the Blue Fund on 29 November 2016 for #GivingTuesday. Nearly one hundred donors made a donation, raising over £10,800! This far
exceeds our target of £5000 and we are enormously grateful for the generous support of parents, Old Blues, staff and other friends of Christ’s Hospital who made this possible.
This was the first year the Christ’s Hospital has taken part in #GivingTuesday, a worldwide initiative supported by the Charities Aid Foundation, to encourage support for UK charities. This resounding success has helped put us one step closer towards our £190,000 Blue Fund target of funding another pupil’s seven year education and boarding at Christ’s Hospital.
The first Blue Fund supported by Old Blues, Parents and friends of CH, was successfully completed in October this year. Thanks to their generosity, we look forward to welcoming a new pupil at CH in September 2017 and we hope that this support will continue to help fund another child in need.
All gifts to the Blue Fund, no matter the size, will help offer life-changing opportunities to another young person.
We are delighted to announce that we’ve reached our first Blue Fund target of £180,000!
Thanks to the 339 Old Blues, parents and other friends of Christ’s Hospital who gave single gifts and regular donations of all sizes,, we have raised the £180,000 needed to fund a child’s seven year education and boarding at the School.
The admissions process is underway to find our first Blue Fund pupil, to start at Christ’s Hospital in September 2017.
In the meantime, we look to raising our new goal of £190,000 so we can give another child in substantial need access to a first class education at Christ’s Hospital.
We always welcome support to host a Blue Fund event. Please contact the Development Office and we would be happy to discuss your event plans and answer any questions you may have.
